Blaugust 2026 #8: The Blogosphere Iceberg

The more I know, the more I know I don't know...

I'm constantly ASTOUNDED by the depth and breadth of our little planet, let alone the universe. Then, dial that in to speaking only of the blogosphere on the web and I'm still frequently amazed by how much is OUT THERE. It's mind-boggling.

I'll never know even close to what there is to know in this world in my lifetime but isn't that incredible? That we could spend 60-90 years (if we make it that far) learning and still probably not even come close to 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of what we could know.

Anyways my point is around my current wanderings around the blogosphere and something called the "indieweb"? I am a newbie though so haven't quite got what it is down in my head. It feels like when you first start learning about something, it's like a giant iceberg, a very small portion is apparently visible but then under the water there is a COLOSSAL MASS that will take a long time to get to know.

I started blogging on Bear Blog less than a month ago and I've already added I don't know how many blogs to my blogroll AND started reading more of the Blaugust bloggers. And y'all are seriously cool.

Check out the current blogroll here! I'm sure in a month there will be 100 more blogs on there at least :)
